The problem I have with AA-type groups is the “perpetual addict” label people saddle themselves with. Even if they have not taken a drink or done any drugs for twenty years, they still call themselves a “recovering” alcoholic or whatever.
I call BS on that. If you don’t drink, you’re NOT an alcoholic, period (but, don’t tell Glenn Beck that).
