Maybe I can make big bucks with Schadenfreude futures.....
On a micro level, this is pretty funny. Nice to see a bunch of Libs fall victim to a scam, and now getting ready to exact payback on the scammer - who richly deserves it.
On a macro level, tho, this exposes why the Dems win so often and "unexpectedly": They have these small grassroots organizing groups that sprout up like weeds and that they dump a LOT of money into in order to draw activists and voters into their web. Groups like this are quickly attached to the Dem coalition of auxiliary groups. Once in, they really can't get out (assuming they want to - see what happened to Susan G. Komen).
The truth is that Conservatives do nothing like it, have nothing like it. Particularly the organizing mindset that spurs the creation of such groups and then funds them.

These delusional lefties really, really want to believe that they are on the side of Truth, Justice, Science, and Reason.
Except that they’re not.
They imagine themselves fighting the good fight against Nazis and Flat Earthers, when in reality they are doing their best to destroy truth and reason.

“Tell it to the King, Burger King, that is, where his mylife.com profile says he works.”
Oh, you’re just repeating a deliberate misunderstanding by people who are jealous of his success. What that really means is that he owns a Burger King franchise that includes multiple stores.

Some choice snips from the article:
Kieloch invited McCarron and McCarron's boyfriend to his mountain house
"I thought he was smart, and all our friends thought he was smart," she says. "He is gay and fat and kind of innocent. It was this whole teen innocence: He seemed pure in his intentions on science and getting investment in science and taking on the Koch Brothers, and that to me was really admirable and basically what I had been doing."
It seems that playing the gay card with democrats gets you through lots of doors without having to prove anything else about yourself or your credibility. Overall I have to say, this couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

Did you read the entire article? The reference to the “wild side” had to do with the fact that this guy seems to be gay. This may have added to his entree to Hillary.

If you get people to donate (or seek to) by setting up a charity, shouldn’t that be a criminal offense? Not just just a jealous misunderstanding? This would get 24/7 coverage if someone on the other side of the aisle did this.

Oh, I was referring sarcastically to the fact that this douchbag listed himself at one time as working as Burger King and how he would spin it if someone spotted that.
