Just as computer technology greatly expanded Americans' wealth in the 1990s, the clean energy market could do the same thing in the years ahead, Secretary of State John Kerry told the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Saturday.
He touted climate change as a societal challenge and an economic opportunity:
...
"The energy market that we are staring at--that is the solution to the climate change," Kerry continued. "Energy policy is the solution to climate change. That market, my friends, is a $6-trillion market today with 4 to 5 billion users today, and it will grow to some 9 billion users over the course of the next 20 to 30 years."

Yes, he really is THAT stupid.
Lying just comes natural (sic) to some people.
I think there is a cabal of ‘real’ leaders in the background somewhere that actually run things, and they don’t care who the ‘president’ is, or any cabinet members, its the same play just different actors.
And they get a big chuckle out of seeing how big of a moron thay can put into these positions and get away with it.
Or it could be worse- these actually could be the morons in charge.
He isn’t stupid on this topic. He is just counting on the voting population to remain stupid.
He is after more big government actions to funnel money through to reward and punish supporters and opponents.
Hey Gigolo boy, stick to something you know...like lying about your military service or boinking ugly rich ladies.
They threw a bunch of those Enron guys in federal prison for just this sort of thing. They had planned to be a worldwide central clearinghouse for carbon credits.
LOL, because the green company market has worked out so well so far, just look at the successes of Solyndra!
/ sarc.
Well it’s sure as hell worked out pretty well for algore.
The only winners will be AlGore and his eco-green buddies (who just happen to financially and exclusively support Democrats).
man caused global warming is bogus.
However, the most important thing the USA can do is first become energy independent and then crush the cost of energy.
We have the ingredients in place already to become energy independent.
what will finally crush the cost of energy will be thorium lftr reactors. there are currently a couple US companies looking for funding to do this work. alas the US energy deopt is currently helping the chinese get their thorium lftr program off the ground.
Yeah, right.
The mother of all markets, with Progressives as the bankers.
IMHO
“the clean energy market could do the same thing in the years ahead”
If true then there is no need for government subsidies or using of tax dollars
That’s true.
If he practiced half of what he preached, he wouldn’t have a huge house, gas guzzling vehicles, or jet all over the world to bloviate about a fantasy.
I’ve got a slick layer of glo-bull warming on the ground now. More coming throughout the week.
Just think, if we had passed glo-bull warming laws back about 15-20 years ago, they would be calling our COLD winter proof that they have stopped glo-bull warming!
Why doesn’t he just go quietly into the night .every time he opens his mouth, his foot gags him.
Algore will not tolerate JFnK working his side of the street.
