President Obama offered a public prayer Thursday for two Americans held separately by North Korea and Iran, saying his administration will continue to fight for their release.
Mr. Obama said at the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington that the U.S. will do everything in our power to gain the release of Kenneth Bae, a Christian missionary in prison in North Korea, and the Rev. Saeed Abedini of Boise, Idaho, who remains imprisoned in Iran

He’s happy to pray for them he’s just not going to do anything to get them released.

Did he include such “prayer” while on his knees and facing east?
And what about Saudi Arabia? No one EVER mentions the Americans being held captive in Saudia Arabia. Why?
Regarding such prayer by one who promotes abortion and a perversion of marriage, one who lies,breaks the law, etc.
When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood (Isaiah 1:15; see also 59:2-3).
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear (Isaiah 59:2).
Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him (John 9:31).
One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination (Proverbs 28:9).
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. (John 9:31)

I hope some Christians are praying too. The odds are much better when one prays to God.
