British cars are a crap shoot.
The Jags always had electrical problems. The Old Triumphs rusted in years.
Range Rovers look sweet, but yikes the price.

Ford Motor did all the heavy clean up at Jaguar before the Indians arrived on the scene. The Brit designed Jaguar V-8 would never have been built but for Ford's money.
