I love them also, but they seem to be Hanger Queens. And the cheapest way to keep them on the road is to adopt a Jaguar mechanic.

I owned four Jaguars during my misspent youth.

While campaigning a ‘66 E type roadster, a friend introduced me to a parts book from Delco of England. Low and behold, here was the solution to the failings of Joe Lucas. Better yet, I could order by parts number from the local NAPA store.
There was no quick and easy solution to the oil leaks and overheating problems in the Series 1. Only after opening up the grill and adding two electric fans could the E type keep its cool in the ‘68 version.
