Canadian rehab center installs crack pipe vending machine

A drug treatment center in Vancouver, Canada has installed a crack pipe vending machine at its facility — going retail in an effort to reach hardcore addicts and keep them off the streets.

The bright, polka-dotted machine dispenses crack pipes like candy or snacks: Each glass pipe costs a quarter, and rolls off a spindle into a tray. A sign on the machine says simply, “Pipes 25¢”

About all that’s missing is a picture of Toronto’s crack-smoking mayor, Rob Ford.

Why not dispense the drug of choice, too? It would have to be free or really, really cheap, since you don’t want addicts mugging people to get $$$

Put it all out there. Free. Drain the low end of the gene pool and be rid of them.

It’s like having a vending machine with little airline bottles of booze at an AA facility.

I’d actually rather have vending machines dispensing drugs than the current War On Some Drugs and all of it’s unconstitutional thuggery.

Prohibition can always be traced back to strange people that are afraid that someone out there might be having a good time.

People who can achieve the fifth depth level of hypnosis (somnambulist) can re-create any drug state that they have ever experienced... I suppose if it was common knowledge the prohibitionists would try to outlaw hypnosis...lol

Level five:
a. Post-hypnotic amnesia without suggestion
b. Positive hallucinations of all sensory perception
c. Full age regression
d. Full anesthesia

About one person in five can reach level 5 readily...with others it can take much work.

The people who use these glass pipes should be required to return them to a recycling center. Recycling this glass is “green” and would help save the earth.

Screw “free”. Let them pay market prices for the crap. Let Safeway, CVS, and Costco sell it in 5 pound sacks to anyone over 21. In about three months all the idiots will be dead.

Then we can get rid of this idiotic, un-Constitutional war on drugs.

I’m pretty sure that overdoses were rare when you could get Bayer Heroin at any drugstore.

Just a small step from the “Safe Injection” site the pipe-vending machines are located in. They provide free needles (AFAIK), but you have to bring your own dope.

Is this place named something like the “Philip Seymour Hoffman Memorial Rehab” clinic?
