It appears to be a hoax that it was a hoax. Today at least.

She one of the few people who could keep up with Bongangles Robinson when he danced.
Because of the times he could not attend Shirley's wedding but is said to have told John Ager if he ever hurt her he would "cut him up."

Fox and FRiends hasn’t mentioned the story since then. They should correct the story if they are wrong.

I don’t know why I find this so sad. Maybe because she is part of some of the best of Americana, and also a connection to the youth of my father’s generation. RIP.

I had no idea she was pro-infanticide.

Temple and Robinson were both great.

If it’s not true, someone needs to tell my local news because they are reporting it every 30 minutes.

I never heard that before. I’d like to see a link, if true. I have never seen a story about her supporting abortion.
To: utahagen
Don't know how long ago Ms. Black would have been ok with abortion, but years ago, a number of good ordinarily conservative people fell under the spell of so-called “freedom of choice.” I remember being personally opposed to abortion, but thinking it was a personal decision. When and why those attitudes changed, I don't know, but mercifully, they did.
As sin and perversion become morally and legally acceptable, with the active approval and encouragement of our leaders in Washington, I think more and more people are going to become outraged. In doing so, hopefully, they will reject the godless socialist “democrats” and we can replace the idol worshipers in Washington with real conservatives.

Neither did I.

The very same type of people who put the current idiot in the WH.

There are a lot of sick people (idiots) who have nothing to do with their time but false posts. It seems that FR has more than its share of conspiracy-oriented people. Just look at the threads in which they have a refrain of "Well, that's ALL the story. Just wait until ALL the facts come out!" If you told them that the sun would rise the next morning you'd hear, "We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?"

Before Shirley Temple (top star 1935-38) started in films, the top box office draws were people like Marie Dressler (1932-33) & Will Rogers (1934). The next top box office draw (1939) was (the still-living) Mickey Rooney.
