They don’t even reduce the amount. They should AT LEAST reduce it by half each time, to wean us of these continual debt limit increases.

It’s just farsical now. Laws mean nothing. Legislative action means nothing. These clowns are just occupying plush furniture in the marble palaces.
Congressional members, especially the republican leadership, are exposed and snookered by their own corruption and yes, as the obozo stated to the French president, he can do what ever he wants. All though new Tea Party folks in DC could make a difference but to rely on elections to fix DC would be foolish.
if not thru elections, then how do you retain civility and make the series changes that need to be made?
Obama can do anything he wants.. and we, sovereign citizens, are supposed to do nothing but acquiesce?

It would take half of the country in the streets all at once. The only thing that could possibly succeed is a military coup. And that will never happen.
So, what’s next? More of the same.
I guarantee that he will increase taxes on millionaires within the next year or two by simply writing an EO. The IRS will follow his orders and a majority of people in this country will support it.
In our lifetime it’s very possible that we will see government thugs rounding people up and taking them to camps. The end of this nation has already taken place.
And 100,000,000 gun owners are just going to surrender and get into the boxcars?
100,000,000? Not all at once. On top of that half of those gun owners are liberals.
What percentage of ALL gun owners do you think would turn their guns over to federal agents who knock on their doors? How many CONSERVATIVE gun owners would turn them over? How many people would actually get into a stand off with a swat team?
In my opinion, very few. And they know it.
How many people SAY they’ll fight is very different.
Or so you believe, though there isn't a shred of evidence (either empirical or anecdotal) to support the idea that liberals own guns in numbers anywhere near approaching those of conservatives.
It's also apparent by the balance of your post that you're scared witless, and believe that Americans have lost the will to fight for flag and country. Yet another paranoid assertion without a shred of evidence to support it.
I think you're dead wrong, and that you've surrendered to the demons in your own mind. In fact, I know this to be true because of the constant stream of doom and gloomage you post on Free Republic.

Where’s your evidence the people will fight? Have you ever fought back? Your rights are being taken away daily and it’s been happening a little at a time for decades. And all you’ve done is post big, tough talk. If the feds knock on your door you’ll do what you’re told just like 98% of the people in this country. When I see on the news that a poster on freerepublic named Windflier is trying to take his country back by fighting it out with the “authorities”, I’ll take that as evidence. Otherwise you’re just passing wind, flier.
No, I haven't started decorating lamp posts with the carcasses of traitors yet, and neither has any other American, but don't think it can't come to that.
The people have a tipping point. We just haven't reached it yet. It's going to have to get a lot more painful before you see an open rebellion in this country, but it most definitely could come to that, given how fast we're sliding off the cliff.
The difference between you and me, is that you think the majority of decent people in America will simply surrender to the jack-booted thugs and hop on the cattle cars. I don't. Not for a single minute.
Like I said, there's a line that the tyrant wanna-be's dare not cross. Who knows if they really know where that line is. There's every chance that they'll become so full of themselves that they'll blunder across it, thinking that Americans will take any amount of bs off of them. When they do, it'll be their undoing.
