Instead of covering him, the implementation of O-care was taking place and everything was frozen - even the insurance he had. Very unfortunate. I don't understand that. I was on state insurance also, program cancelled at the end of the year, yet authorizations were being issued and claims paid right through Dec. 31st. If his insurance activity was frozen there was a breach of contract. Everything must have gone wrong for him.

Not sure, but I think it might have been because of the treatment/surgery, or the kind of treatment/surgery the doctor was wanting to give him.
