What gets me....is that there’s at least one or two home invasions on a nightly basis in Detroit...minimum. So, you have three punks wandering around, and figuring...what kind of trouble can we incite or what poor loser can we rob?
You can figure....out of every ten houses....at least five of these folks are armed. So it’s a fifty-fifty guess. Out of the five armed....you can figure one will have an automatic rifle. Statistically speaking....it’s Russian Roulette. You are simply guessing on your rate of survival, and how many rounds they will fire before they hit you. It’s a pretty lousy assessment of your life, and the calculated risks involved.
So, this brings me to an observation. Every single house in America needs an automatic rifle...with the NRA providing free (or as cheap as possible) instruction on how to fire the weapon successfully. We need the statistics to basically say....it’s ten out of ten houses armed, and they are prepared to send you onto your grave. Rather than playing Russian Roulette....let’s make it absolute...you won’t be around as the sun rises....if you want to play home invasion.
Anyone who defends themselves with a firearm in New York State is considered a criminal.
That’s what you get when you elect a thug as governor, a communist as mayor, a blooming idiot as a three-time mayor, and leftist assholes to the state legislature.
If there is ever a state that needs a gigantic political enema, it is New York. But in order not to discriminate, we might as well give one to most of New England, good parts of New Jersey (Ray Nagin’s chocolate cities), Maryland (esp.Baltimore and Montgomery County), Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, and almost all of urban California.

I was trying to read this, but all I could think about was tar and feathers.
But the Beltway geniuses at the NSSF label these “Modern Sporting Rifles” so how dare they be used for an actual purpose besides sh*ts and giggles?

The NY SAFE Act is the brain-fart of a complete socialist moron, Andrew Cuomo.
Especially when you consider that making a gun scary looking is exactly what you want. If it is frightening enough, the bad guys will run away and you don’t have to use it. If it looks like a toy, however, it will have no psychological benefit and the bad guys will not be afraid of it.
So, the scarier the gun “looks”, the better it is as a deterrent, whether it is fired or not.
Why is that officer pointing that gun at his belly???

I do not think that illegal plunder, such as theft or swindling — which the penal code defines, anticipates, and punishes — can be called socialism. It is not this kind of plunder that systematically threatens the foundations of society. Anyway, the war against this kind of plunder has not waited for the command of these gentlemen. The war against illegal plunder has been fought since the beginning of the world. Long before the Revolution of February 1848 — long before the appearance even of socialism itself — France had provided police, judges, gendarmes, prisons, dungeons, and scaffolds for the purpose of fighting illegal plunder. The law itself conducts this war, and it is my wish and opinion that the law should always maintain this attitude toward plunder.
