A Polk County family says bullying may force them to pull their 14-year-old daughter out of school.
Haines City Police said it has launched an investigation into the bullying, and the FBI is also looking into the complaint.
Fourteen-year-old Zarah Habibulla says the bullying started last December when she began wearing a headscarf to school as part of her Muslim faith.
Zarah said she is now scared to go to school after students have taunted her saying, “terrorist, yo we got some terrorists here we gotta run,” and “…I’m going to shoot you. I’m going to bomb you. You better watch out.” …

Isn’t the school allowed to force her to remover her headscarf in the interest of safety? You know, like if it were an American flag.

Today the court ruled the school can force her not to wear a scarf,,,,it might incite violence.

And remember, Christian school children are not allowed to wear anything “religious” or to bring their Bibles into the hallowed secular halls of the government school collective.
Isn’t the fact that they school is allowing her to wear a religious symbol in school against the “seperation of church and state”? Are they not establishing a school religion?

This girl who BEGAN wearing a islamic scarf poses a public safety issue. Did she do it deliberately as a hate crime? Is this her jihad?
Her scarf is not required by islam.

I was thinking along the same lines. If the bullies were of a certain northern european heritage, I’m sure the problem would already be national and world headlines with lots of huffin and puffin from the ACLU
When thousands of young Afgani refugee girls came to the US in 1980-83, NONE OF THEM of them wore headscarves.
When whole Afghani refugee families started arriving in late 1980`s-1990, NONE OF THE WOMEN wore headscarves, except the grandmother in each family as a sign of respect for her. It was always a white scarf.
The other women at formal gatherings, weddings etc., wore native Afghani costumes with different colors other than white, except for the bride, who was always in white.
All the eligible girls at festive occasions usually wore silken see-thru leggings, bare bellies & navels, bra-type tops - just like belly dancers, because they would dance around in circles so that young Afghani men would see them and pick a potential mate for marriage later on. These young girls would range in age from 12 to 18 dancing in front of men 18 and older.
The grandmother was the only one allowed to wear the headscarf as a synmbol of her matriarchal authority over the family, as she always had the last say and was always consulted on all matters.
This is a bunch of new crap about girls wearing headscarfs in school etc started by the muslem men here in USA coz they do not want to lose control over the young women who were starting to become Americanized.
The headscarf on anyone other than a grandmother is a sign of subservience to the males because it usurps the power position of the grandmother by the men and makes the grandmother subservient also.
The young moslem girls are brainwashed and forced by the men to wear scarves-

Only for the last 30 years there have the Indo Moslem women STARTED to wear the headscarf.,-never before for 400 years of recorded Dutch/Indo history are there any pictures or mention of any moslem women wearing a headscarf in Indonesia until late 1980`s-1990`s when terrorists starting church bombings there, burning down Christian sections of Jakarta, Jogjakarta and Surabaya and raping the Christian girls in the streets./
The men are pushing the young girls in school to wear headscarves so that the moslems can make subtle inroads to establish Sharia law in this country- I KID YOU NOT!
Take off the headscarf and assimilate.
It is a good thing there are no other crimes the FBI needs to worry about. They can dedicated all their resources to solving this dastardly offense.
