How long before a grant to study the course of the disease and the search for potential cures of rushed through the US Congress and sent to the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut for signature?

Abstinence and quarantine is not considered to be an effective means to containing the spread of this syndrome. At least, not by the potentially affected population.
