Hundreds of Germans will lose their jobs through US Army troop withdrawals under cutbacks announced by the American military.
The military announced last week that 554 Germans directly employed by US forces would be made redundant.
But the communities around the army bases warned the knock-on effect would be far greater than the headline job loss figure.

Tough. We subsidized Europes’ socialism for almost 70 years. Deal with it.

This on one page and on the other “obama warns Russia about Ukraine”. What a mixed message these jerks send.

I’ve watched this happen in a couple of German communities, and the after-effects of an American troop withdrawal has all kinds of consequences in a German community that go beyond the jobs lost.
Huge numbers of buildings are vacated, operational expenses that funded numerous local businesses are gone, mixed German-American families are left in German communities with no more “America” to hold on to, American schools are closed, social mixers that familiarize cultures are ended, and infrastructure created is no longer needed.
It’s been handled in other places, but it truly is a huge disruption for a decade at a minimum.

World War II did cause a bit of a disruption here in the USA, too.

Obama did not actually warn Russia about any thing. He merely mouthed some words that the press has morphed into a warning.
Americans fear the IRS more than the Russians fear our military.
