I often do vote with my feet. I have no problems with properly scrubbed air in restaurants or offices(or separate areas ) and I avoid the worst that do not.

I believe businesses that don’t will lose business unless they put in air filtration. Just MHO.

Although I quit smoking more than 30 years ago, I still very much enjoy the aroma. Like I mentioned a few posts back, after church services, when I'm enjoying coffee in the downstairs kitchen, the smoke is actually quite pleasant to my nostrils.

It also serves to reminds me of my college days in the early 1960s when I used to ride the Greyhound bus back to home from school for holidays. In those days, nearly everyone smoked (as did I) and since the olfactory sense evokes such strong recollections, all of my associative memories with smoking are very positive. Growing up as I did in the 1940s, there was time when a good host made sure that ashtrays and lighters were omnipresent.
