#9 - have no fear of fed tax $$ being used for
toxic clean-up. I people watch about a mile's
worth of beach. The Feds won't have much to
clean up. This part of the O.C. leaves that
chore to the ‘greenies’. There are scheduled
indoctrination days for various student groups.
The kids show up, walk in a row as if looking for shell
casings, often wearing matching feel-good tee shirts,
while carrying big black trash bags, which blow in the breeze -empty, ‘cause the last group who left a few
weeks ago found the last remaining two old cig butts.

The ‘clean the beach’ routine has now enriched their college application resumes. Then what? a pizza party and communal green feeling time, plus they were
able to avoid learning the three R's for one more day.
