If you are an airline and own expensive planes, you install anti-idiot measures in your planes to keep those idiots from ditching your $300 million planes.

Including remote-control software and protocols.

The planes already mostly fly themselves. Our military has this capability I’m sure its possible for a 777.

And, isn’t it time to use a datalink to store all that flight data AWAY from the plane? Why have to go look for the flight data recorders? Just open the file and have at it...
