Assistant Principal Candy Birch. In the letter, Birch said in her role as activities director that she wanted to give students an additional opportunity to connect with each other.

Apparently the only people she wanted the students to connect to were people they were already connected to, what a way to insure success, while completely missing the opportunity for a teaching moment, but hey it's a school, we can't have actual education happen there.

That district’s tax dollars hard at work! No doubt they are really into the Common Core Standards and Data Base as well.
