Homosexuality is a judgement on America.
This needs to be pointed out consistently - homosexuality will not bring judgement upon our country; homosexuality IS the judgement. Romans 1:26 starts with “For this reason” and continues “God gave them up to vile passions.” “..men with men committing what is shameful”; so this is a judgement upon our society.
It also continues and says that they give approval to others for more and more evil acts. We see this today with our legislatures accepting homosexual marriages and the teaching of it as acceptable in the schools.
Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.
The “gay plague” logically follows from a formerly Christianized land whose current Christians have thrown away most if not all of their sense of sexual purity.
“Straights” who won’t do it straight before the Lord (meaning virtuous singlehood or else faithful monogamy) have no leg to stand on if they would urge homosexuals to do what is sexually right. People might flirt with that kind of thing in the past, but many would then give it up seeing how it led nowhere. Now when anything goes, it no longer looks like it leads nowhere.
In a manner that’s a judgment, but that’s analogous to saying having your house burn down is a judgment for playing with matches. It did not come out of the blue. It was perfectly logical.
