Romney was the vastly overwhelming choice in the 2012 primary but lost because the 3 million so called conservative purists stayed home......simple as that.
Romney was Romney and everyone who voted for him in the primary knew that.......I knew that and that's why I voted for another candidate.
But I didn't stay home and pout and complain, I knew damn well he was better than Obama and that's why I supported him.......
Everyone who stayed home can blame themselves for what we got in return........
America lost and you are actually proud of voting for Mittens as though he were actually Republican, much less actually conservative. Wanna lose the next election? Nominate another Romney type. Wanna win? Nominate a candidate worth voting for. Otherwise, oh well....
Romney BOUGHT the nomination and popularity had nothing to do with it. If the Taxachusetts Romney had won, there would be no chance of salvaging the GOP. Chances are slim even now but they exist. Romney would have utterly destroyed the Republican brand.
In a long career, the one thing Romney does best and most consistently is lose general elections. He won one term as executive dictator of Taxachusetts and fled the certain loss that awaited if he sought re-election. He was grandfather to Obozocare, threatened town clerks who refused to issue "gay""marriage" licenses with legal action, though neither the courts nor the legislature had directly authorized such licenses, appointed horrendous excuses for judges, and generally made a mindless and clueless $$$$$ nuisance of himself.
If the jerk Romney runs again and buys the nomination again, expect 3 million conservative refuseniks to become 6 million or more. He is trash. He is hereditary trash. He will always be trash. And he is demonratic in GOP drag trash at that.
Obozo was re-elected the moment that Romney was nominated. Wanna try again? The results will be no different.
