Walter Jones is yet another TARGET of the GOPe’s war on conservatives. The GOPe is terrified that (at least in the House of Representatives) conservative Republicans may well achieve a sufficient number of new Tea Party conservative representatives in the House that a “tipping point” will be reached with the ruling elite being replaced by real, honest-to-goodness conservatives. So they have targeted a number of current Republican incumbents (such as Walter Jones in North Carolina and Kerry Bentivolio in Michigan) for defeat by designated RINOS.
