The United Auto Workers announced Monday it is withdrawing an appeal of the outcome of a union vote at Volkswagens assembly plant in Tennessee.
In a statement released one hour before the scheduled start of a National Labor Relations Board hearing in Chattanooga, Tenn., UAW President Bob King said the union decided to put the tainted election in the rearview mirror because the challenge could have taken months or even years to come to a conclusion.

They don’t have the numbers.
I’m not sure this is completely dead. Watch for them to use it against the GOP in states like Ohio and Michigan where unions still hold some influence. But it isn’t going to win them any points in a state like Tennessee.
Wasn't it Corker saying that he was told by VW that they would expand Chattanooga with a new product line if the UAW was voted out? Assuming Corker wasn't exaggerating then it'll be interesting if it happens or if the German union puts a halt to it.
