How many times are we going to have to do this? The debate is over. America IS “one nation under GOD” to normal, “hardworking”, taxpaying AMERICANS!

David Noise? Let us thank the attorney for exposing us to this group so that we may add it to the list of those worthy of our attention here on Scorched Earth Day!!

Kids don’t have to stand and recite the pledge. This suit is simply about not allowing ANY of the kids to recite it vs the few who don’t.

American Humanist Association’s Appignani Humanist Legal Center, said public schools should not permit an exercise that "teaches students that patriotism is tied to a belief in God."

So, they're implying that "Humanist" atheists like them are just as patriotic as God-fearing Americans. Gosh, how come I never noticed that?

Ever.

They should be honored to be treated as second-class, when all they are is low-class.

The problem is that the courts should dismiss the cases with prejudice and FINE the lawyers and plaintiff's for wasting time and money on settled law. They have no incentive NOT to sue over and over as they get headlines and chances to fund raise and rabble rouse.

The Declaration, our founding document, explicitly sites the Creator as the source of inalienable rights. That is the supposed bedrock of our republic. Enough is enough. We have no right to not be offended and no freedom from religion.

Without a Deity we have no inalienable rights. We simply have rights granted by an all powerful government.

“Such a daily exercise portrays atheist and humanist children as second-class citizens, and certainly contributes to anti-atheist prejudices,” Niose said in a statement.”

Our Constitution and laws are based on the “Ten Commandments”. I believe that some reference to this still stands above the Supreme Court building.

To remove GOD from government would be to deny the foundation of our beliefs. There is no law that you must believe in GOD, but there is the freedom to practice religion or none if you choose.

I wonder if Mr Niose would feel as prejudiced and “second class” in a Muslim country.
