Some of these cities are divisive candidates for the convention. You got Boehner in Cincinnatti selling out on amnesty. You got gay marriage supporter Rob Portman. In Vegas you got the entire Nevada delegation, Governor and other selling out on illegal alien freebies. You'll have conservatives staying at home as "lightweight" Joe Heck tries to beat Harry Reid. At least Missouri has a conservative state chairman. I thought they might avoid it because of Todd Akin. In Denver you have the Tancredo and open borders crowd fighting.

Las Vegas would not be the greatest choice. The convention center is located a considerable distance from the major hotels and public transportation is poor. The temperature will also be in the triple digits.

Let’s see if they can go a couple of months without a lone gunman shooting three or more people before he’s caught. They’re on a rough patch lately with that guy at the Jewish center and the crazy-looking highway shooter.
