LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP)

Let's look at McConnell's ratings for the last two years:
McConnell (KY) - 2012 - 82% (Average) - 75% (Heritage) - 74% (CFG) - 100% (ACU) - 77% (FreedomWorks)
McConnell (KY) - 2013 - 83% (Average) - 78% (Heritage) - 87% (CFG) - 92% (ACU) - 73% (FreedomWorks)
And now his ratings without the ACU:
McConnell (KY) - 2012 - 75% (Average) - 75% (Heritage) - 74% (CFG) - 77% (FreedomWorks)
McConnell (KY) - 2013 - 79% (Average) - 78% (Heritage) - 87% (CFG) - 73% (FreedomWorks)
And you can clearly see why these politicians just LOVE the ACU and their "lifetime ratings." Why, they can use their conservative votes from 20 years ago to give them cover for their sucky votes recently! Instead of 75% or 79% they can claim that that they vote conservative 90% of the time.
The ACU is a sham! And they've endorsed Mitch McConnell. What a surprise!!
Who’s next? Lindsey Graham?
Could be....the ACU is a beltway organization today although it may have been better in the past,....
they really need a name change
You hit two major key points: A: they are a beltway organization and B: were better in the past. The same is true of the NRA and National Right to Life and John Boehner and many others .the more years inside the beltway, the worse they become.
The ACU is a RINO organization which sets up BOGUS rating schemes. Many RINOs, such as Karl Rove, set up organizations with “conservative” in their names and they are anything except conservative.
Fraud PAC endorses fraud “conservative.”
The Republican machine and its money have snared a lot of organizations to tie in with them that have “Tea Party” or “Conservative” or “Pro Family” names.
Heck the Dems have fronts to serve them like Planned Parenthood, the NAACP, labor unions, LGBT fronts no doubt and many others.
Unity: Rand Paul endorses Mitch McConnell
