Obama’s remarks at the WHCD prove that he’s doubling down on full-throated progressivism.

I don’t understand why. It’s EXACTLY what they voted for.

It’s good to know that there are still a lot of Americans living in this country.

Too bad the RNC screwed up so badly in 2012. We had the Democrat party down for the count in 2010, and the ‘smart’ people in Washington let them off the mat in time for the next election. Their myopic thinking and timid approach opened the door for a more Democratic Senate and four more years of a consistently unpopular agenda.

Why do they use terms like “trouble”, instead of more optimistic terms in favor of conservatives?

GOP failed under GWB when he had the House and Senate. They were in position to investigate Dem voter fraud and tighten the election laws and voter id. GWB wanted to start off on goodwill instead. Atleast the Dems understand power better then GOP.

Democrats needn’t cry. While it is true that people are fed up with Obama and corrupt Democrats, it is also true that the Republican Party is fed up with its conservative base. The GOPe will commit political suicide to keep the Tea Party from gaining a foothold in the halls of party power.

Agreed. I recall when DeLay announced that there just isn't anything that could be cut. The party was abysmal when they had a significant majority. A side benefit of the 2006 and 2008 election failures is that a lot of the problem people were eliminated. Some of the ones flying around on Abramoff's planes for personal gain.

We added a lot of good people in 2010, and a few more in 2012, but the party edged some out and neutralized others to go back to their crony capitalism ways. 2011 and 2012 was a huge opportunity to recast the party and reposition the Dems, but they messed up badly.

Get used to the fact that the GOP plays powder puff football against a bunch of pros without a referee present.

"I don’t understand why. It’s EXACTLY what they voted for."

I totally agree, however many of them didn't fully understand exactly WHAT they voted for, or what it meant to them. The thing about dems is, you can't tell them ANYTHING. They always have their blinders strapped firmly in place.

It was hard to watch this video. I never watch MSNBC and can now understand why nobody else watches it either.

First, they give Obama a 44% favorable rating, I have read polls he is at or under 40%. That is a favorable bounce.

Second, they alway put things in perspective by comparing Obama to Bush. Boy, these guys never tire of beating a very old dead horse.

Remember the Tom Bradley effect where Tom lost his election
in a surprise because White people didn’t want to tell interviewers they didn’t like Tom’s job. Well I still believe Obama’s true numbers are like Tom’s meaning Obama’s
numbers are 5% lower.

Take 5% away and Obama is in fact polling just like Bush.

The people can be unhappy with the Dems. and go to the polls to vote them out - but it’s the Dems. who own the media and vote “counting” apparatus.

The Dems. will remain in power and solidify their stranglehold on the population.

Thanks PoloSec.

It’s a news topic, in the news forum, but that’s merely ironic, because, y’know, it’s MSNBC.

The media is always in the bag for the Demwits, and anyone who remembers that time knows that the election turned on the War on Terror, and on absolutely nothing else (besides the usual vote fraud and voter intimidation by the Demagogic Party).
