GOP activist Karl Rove is being accused of gutter politics in a response by Hillary Clinton’s reps after remarks last week, reported by Page Six, that the former secretary of state may have brain damage from a blood clot she suffered in 2012.
“From the moment this happened 17 months ago, the right has politicized her health,” Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. “First they accused her of faking it. Now they’ve resorted to the other extreme — and are flat-out lying … All he wants to do is inject the issue into the echo chamber, and he’s succeeding.”
This comes in response to Rove’s comments at a conference in Los Angeles last week: “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”

Projection, projection, projection! The Left politicizes EVERYTHING! Yet we are always accused of it and Big Media trumpets whatever the Left says as truth. We should damn well know what her health situation is if she decides to run. PERIOD.
Why are they so upset? I believe it was the WH that initially released the info that she had had a “blood clot” on the brain (basically, a stroke). This may or may not cause brain damage, but in any case, Rove never said she had “brain damage,” just that if she had an incident this serious and is running for president, voters should know about it.
That said, this is one of the few times or maybe the only time Hillary has ever had my sympathy. She was under an incredible amount of pressure, because she was a totally rejected and ineffectual SOS, appointed only because Bill wanted Obama to do so (but marginalized because Bill didn’t get the contract right), who had to go out and defend the most ridiculous policies in the universe. Even she, die-hard Dem operative, knew the policies were ridiculous and that the entire administration was snickering when they sent her out there. The rest of the time, Obama sent her to obscure destinations while he had other people go out and spew his line at important meetings.
She would have been willing to do anything he said, but she obviously didn’t have standing to make an impact. Plus, I think Obama was trying to humiliate the First Black President, BJ Clinton, through her.
Will Clinton (Bill) take his revenge? I bet he will.
Why is her fitness off limits? She can’t pass the physical. Her body is producing blood clots. She’s going to get a blood clot in her brain or lungs and that will be the end of her. And then the Democrats can look her grandchild in the eye and say they’re sorry that they cared more about the election than they cared about Hillary.
Watch Hilary carefully. I think Rove is onto something although many of you don’t believe him.
With Hillary, speculation is all voters have on Benghazi, and it’s all they have on her various clashes with gravity.
It’s likely all that we’re going to get, too.
What better way to discredit any criticisms about Hillary's health than to have a schmuck like Rove say it, then the Left can denounce it, and then it's discredited?
Remember how the Clintons were "angry" that Ken Starr was the Independent Counsel? How they attacked him publicly. But in private, they were as happy as clams.
Everything is political and has an end justifies the means scenario with the Clintons.

Hillary was born with brain damage..and it seems to me like Rove is trying to make excuses for her disgusting behavior..first of all Benghazi happened BEFORE her “Fall” and Clinton not calling Boko Haram a terrorist group had nothing to do with her fall, it has to do with her ideology..something no knock on the head can fix
Wondering about the health of an old woman who might run for office is now verboten.
The abuse heaped upon Sarah Palin was amusing and acceptable.

rare clot in a vein between her brain and skull was discovered during a follow-up exam Sunday, weeks after she reportedly sustained a concussion after a fall in her home during a bout of stomach flu. - so she did have a concussion which as we now now can cause any number of issues (ask the NFL)
To be honest I think she made a full recoever and whish her the best of health where ever she lives as long as it is not 1600 Penn Ave.
She’s as healthy as a horse and will remain so,
until asked, again, to testify under oath about Ben Ghazi.
At that time she will require bed rest and lots of clear fluids: gin, vodka & grain alcohol.
Yeah, the Clintons - sooooooooo outraged about the possibility that someone might lie AGAINST THEM. Not that they’ve ever lied against other... nope, not the Clintons...
They deserve to have people lie against them... but I suspect this might be the truth about Hillary. Rove has never run a ‘sluts and nuts’ team... and probably never will...
Hugh Rodham, 81, suffered the stroke March 19 and has been in critical condition since March 22.
The elder Rodham, who walks with a cane, had been in frail health periodically over the last several years.
One of her main holdings was part ownership of a Little Rock condominium she had bought with her parents, who had moved to Arkansas from Illinois in 1987, after Hugh Rodham’s first stroke.
