Sure thing. You should use some of that free-time you just expended to come up with all those colorful terms to actually learn something tangible about libertarian ideals.

Do you actually post all that slander to make yourself believe it? Or just to amuse yourself?

Because if you ask around, you ain’t really convincing anyone else...especially based on my number of new ping list signups as of late.

Jobs would come back to America if America simply made the change.

America is a democracy.

America can do anything we want. All that is needed, is for us to change the rules.

Jobs go elsewhere, because we do not keep them here.

Very cryptic. Which indicates to me you aren’t serious.

PS. America is a republic, not a democracy.

I like to call myself a moderate with libertarian tendencies, but I’m a true moderate unlike the GOPe. By moderation I mean I want smaller government, but I’m willing to compromise so long as we’re making good progress to the right. For example, I’d settle for slashing the Dept of Ed for the time being as a good compromise with the left that apparently wants DC running all the schools.

As far as libertarian goes, I think the benefit of the doubt should go to liberty, but I also support federalism and the right of communities to set their own standards. If a locality wants to legalize pot for example, I think that could cause problems but it’s their right. I don’t think liberty equals anarchy, but that’s what I read from some Libertarians.

Again, I think that’s a truly moderate approach, because I don’t want the federal government calling the shots on things that aren’t specifically enumerated in the US Constitution, but I support the right of communities to do things I don’t necessarily agree with. Make sense?

Or maybe. Just maybe.

You have an interest in shipping US jobs elsewhere?

America needs to make stuff. Right here.

We need to stop exporting American jobs. We have exported jobs now for over an entire generation.

Bring back American jobs.

Or maybe you are blind as to the root cause of jobs going overseas? Haven’t you been on here long enough to ascertain what that may be?

Makes absolutely PERFECT sense, so much so that I'd say you and I are pretty much on the same page, Citizen, though the word "moderate," like the words "gay" and "liberal," has changed so much in meaning and implication that I choose instead to self-identify as a limited government (which is just another way of saying "small l libertarian principle") Christian conservative.

But because the word "libertarian" appears at all, Res2nd, pinged, thinks that you and I and my 85-year-old mother (not to mention Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, and the late great Milton Friedman) are the same as liberals and that we yearn for lots of open homosexuality, child pornography, subsidized legal abortion on demand, and legalization of all drugs so that we -- you, me, and my 85 year old mother -- can get high.

Resposibility 2nd is

a) directly harmful to himself and America by bearing false witness in order to "prove" that he is morally superior to you, me, and my 85-year-old self-described "libertarian tendencies" mom.

b) would have his nose broken by righteous, honorable, conservative men if he accused my mother to her face of the vile things he slanders her with here, as she is a self-described (like Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams and Milton Friedman, all "liberals" in Resp2nd's demented, angry perception) small-l libertarian at least in tendency, though she is actually very much like you, Citizen.

I am a social conservative, a constitutionalist and a traditionalist in just about every way.

The media, corporate America and the public school system have been the driving force behind the gay agenda. Communities that do not participate in the media, public schooling or corporate America seem to be sidestepping this issue. It probably isn’t even on their radar. For example, the Amish do not seem to be dealing with any abortion controversy, nor are they fighting over gay marriage. Sure, there are other issues, but Adam and Steve looking to bond for life isn’t one of them. The Amish have strong families and communities and limited participation in the trash that secular America (including most conservatives) embraces.

How many alleged conservatives send their children into the pagan indoctrination centers aka socialist government schools aka public schools, thinking it is perfectly OK to do this while claiming to be against the agenda of the radical left?? Over 95%? If one is sending one’s children to ANY government funded school, one is indirectly supporting the homosexual agenda. If all conservatives and traditionalists enrolled their children in private Christian schools or home schools, this social disaster would be turned around in about 20 years, and we wouldn’t be running to the government or to the Courts to do something about it. It simply would NOT be an issue.

BTW, where are the churches on this issue?? I almost never hear them talking about this, except with respect to wanting the government to do something about it when most pastors are showing zero leadership from the pulpit.

Rand Paul is simply stating the obvious.

We need to stop expecting the government to fight the culture wars for us. The solution is right in front of us, but pride will never allow us to admit it.

Rand Paul is simply stating the obvious.

Rand Paul is surrendering on this issue instead of leading.

I am a social conservative, a constitutionalist and a traditionalist in just about every way.

Since you seem to be surrendering the social issues as well, and making excuses for it, I doubt that as well.
