This is the natural end point for an out of control government bureaucracy.

We need a civil war. If the Liberals/Marxists want to regulate cooking stoves, I will tell them 'Hell No!!!'. My cooking stove doesn't pollute nor does it contribute to Globull Warming. Do the Marxists want us to cook with Bull Dung? They are trying to push Bull Dung on us.

Stop Tyranny!!!

Meanwhile millions of people around the world cook their meager meals over open wood fires . For these government Luddites its publish or perish. They must publish new regulations at an ever increasing rate or they cannot justify their jobs, bonuses, retirement checks and in general their own existence. Its bloated useless government at its finest.

4.3 million dead per year? From cooking? Where do they get these numbers???

Only about 65 million people died on the entire planet last year, from all causes combined.

The EPA is taking America back to the Stone Age. It won’t be long before we’re throwing people in volcanos as a sacrifice to Gaia.

The gooberment libtards are constantly making laws to “save lives” while at the same time letting people die waiting for gooberment furnished medical care. Makes sense to who?

I see this being imposed on restaurants, much like the ADA regulations were. They will be forced to install expensive “clean burning” stoves, exhaust systems, and filters. This will necessitate EPA inspections of these kitchens to ensure compliance, for a fee of course. It will also increase manufacturing costs. In the end, businessman and homeowners (the rich) will bear the brunt.

EPA noted the World Health Organization estimates that exposure to smoke from traditional cookstoves and open pit fires leads to 4.3 million premature deaths each year.

How are regulations by the EPA in THE UNITED STATES going to have any benefit to the millions of third-world women who spend all day cooking over dung fires in tiny huts, ruining their lungs?

“You don’t need a presidency for life when you have a bureaucracy for life.” - Mark Steyn

It won’t matter if conservatives take the House, Senate and the presidency if we don’t put a stop to the bureaucratic dictatorship that has quietly seized control of this country.

Kitchen pollution? I began reading this article desperately searching for the ‘satire’ statement. Seriously.
If women and children are suffering from ‘kitchen pollution’ in the US, why are the Amish, who use wood stoves in many communities, so likely to live well into their 80’s and 90’s?
I agree this is intended to extort millions from restaurants who cook with open flames.

...deadly cooking pollution...
It only took 92 years for that deadly stove to kill my mother.

Dastard.
