The moment will be when each soldier decides to either break rank and go AWOL, or stay in formation. I am not so sure of the outcome, as once decided, the line has been drawn.

The govt thought they could arm up a bunch of forest rangers, stick tactical vests on them and they would invade a sovereign state, run roughshod over the public and steal a private citizen’s cattle. Look how that turned out. Up against the militia it was a total no go. They turned tail and ran as fast as they could when they realized they were about to get massacred by a bunch of former military with combat experience.
