I said from the beginning that something's rotten in Denmark. Obama has said on numerous occasions that should the need arise, he would support Islam. I believe this is his way of giving the Taliban their senior leaders, refreshed from a stint at Club Guantanamo, and buying him a few years with no terror attacks.
Exactly. Those terrorists that he released. (The ones that our countrymen fought and possibly died to capture) have been living it up at Club Gitmo. They have been on an extended vacation... fattened up on orange glazed chicken and air conditioning... now refreshed... ready to fight again.
Bergdahl’s release is window dressing, misdirection, to hide the real motives, whatever they are, of this amazing episode.
Taliban: cool it for two and a half years.
Obama: all prisoners released when his term ends. Guantanamo closed as promised. Nobel Peace Prize justified at long last. Peace on earth. Legacy secured.
I recommend Jack Nicholson for the Obama part in the movie. Louise Fletcher would make a perfect Taliban negotiator. Movie title: One Flew Over the White House.
It’s treason! We gave back 5 senior Taliban who will now plan and lead efforts to harm the USA, while we’re still engaged with them in combat.
This is either stupid and weak leadership or treason....I’ve made up my mind considering past behavior and remarks by Obama.
