Obama Personally Negotiated Deal That Allows Taliban Commanders To Freely Roam Qatar
Shoebat ^ | 6/4/2014

Posted on 06/05/2014 2:21:22 AM PDT by markomalley

Five of the worst Taliban terrorist commanders are right now roaming free in Qatar, despite assurances from the White House press secretary that any “threat potentially posed by the returned detainees was sufficiently mitigated”, as Shoebat.com reported. The translation of that into English is that the deal was done because the Obama administration was confident the Qatari government would keep these terrorists under lock and key.

Instead, these terrorists are being treated to a hero’s welcome on par with what the Obama administration was hoping Bowe Bergdahl would receive. Raising more red flags is the fact that details of the terms of their release are not being revealed. State Department deputy spokesman Marie Harf was asked… but she wasn’t talking.

However, one thing she did concede to was that the agreement was “very high level agreement” between the “head of the government of Qatar and the President of the United States”. When asked if these terrorists would be allowed to roam free in Qatar, Harf refused to confirm or deny. That refusal to answer bolsters the assertions that these terrorists are quite unfettered in Qatar:

(video at link)

So, in addition to the unforeseen backlash from the American people in response to a deserter in Bergdahl being swapped for hardened terrorist commanders, Harf has admitted that Obama negotiated the deal with Qatar relative to the mitigation of any threat from these terrorists. The backlash that should come from the American people next is that not only was the deal made to release these Gitmo terrorists but that no threat is being mitigated. These terrorists are roaming free in Qatar.

As Shoebat.com has reported, if there is a common interest shared by the head of Qatar and Obama, it’s what happens in Syria. Both leaders are invested in the removal of Al-Assad and a vacuum being filled by the rebels.

The lopsidedness of the deal – coupled with the fact that these prisoners are not even being jailed in Qatar upon their arrival – suggests that they will be human assets to Qatar if they are able to help with the fight in Syria.

i havent heard anyone make this point.

obozo’s gang says the released taliban will be watched in Qatar for one year -

so what ? doesn’t matter where these taliban scum are.

do people think that because they are not in Afghanistan, they can’t plan and command operations against American troops who will be in Afghanistan for about 2 more years ? think they don’t know about computers and cell phones ?

and does anyone really believe these muzzies can’t wait to start killing Americans again ?

obozo should be tried and convicted for treason and God willing he will be.

Why do I get the feeling this negotiation began with the words “How may I help you”.

“Obozo should be tried and convicted for treason and God willing he will be.”

It is unfathomable that these five Taliban commanders would be released under any circumstances. These are brutal killers who have personally taken the lives of American military and civilian personnel. In a wartime situation, to release them and put them back on the battlefield is truly an act of treason. And for Obama to trade a traitor for these scumbags is a slap in the face to all American patriots.

Need to get every Democrat on record (on tape) and have them declare their support for what Obama just did.

Of course, they are now running for cover.

“Obozo should be tried and convicted for treason........”

How many times have I heard and said that on FR. The man and his policies are a disaster and he has no intention of following any law he doesn’t like and the Constitution be damned yet our elected Representatives are no better for letting him get away with it.

Nothing will be done except the usual talking point bitching points which mean nothing. The man will remain until his term is up and we will continue to see the decline of America and the blatant disregard for law.

Of course Obama negotiated this deal himself. Forget about the deserter who was returned, that is an insignificant portion of this deal. He was basically a distraction to hang a patina of rationality around this "deal". He was the youtube video of the "exchange".

This amounts to a release, period, of the five most dangerous prisoners at Gitmo. Obama tried every way he could to get these guys released and then, he just did it. He will not stop until he is stopped. Impeachment is the only route now.

The republicans need to pin every single democrat rep and senator to this lawless president and defeat every one they can in November. Go back to Washington in January with a majority in both houses and the political will to remove him from office. It is the only hope for America.

Even PMSNBC’s Mourning Joe crew are outraged at this deal. The world has turned upside down.

Why did Obama do this?

I know he’s evil and that he hates America, freedom, Christianity, and everything good, but even that doesn’t explain this stupid and evil action. What was in it for him personally or politically in the short term?

Is he trying to clear his agenda in some way, and he wants Gitmo emptied no matter what, so freeing a deserter was intended to give a little cover for his goal of releasing our enemies? Did he need such a negative distraction to draw attention from something that is less negative but more dangerous (he can argue with some justification that this evil and illegal action is not impeachable because the law infringed on his constitutional powers)? Is he desperate to motivate the anti-America, anti-military wing of his party? Was he throwing a hissy fit because Hamid Karzai wouldn’t meet with him to discuss releasing those terrorists to Karzai’s custody?

As evil and foolish as Obama is, this evil and foolish decision was so terrible that it seems out of character even for him.

If he gets away with this, he will not leave.

People underestimate Obama at our peril. If you just remember he hates America, it all makes sense.

Anyone struggling with the president’s action here should ask themselves whether they honestly believe the the president would have done the same “deal” to exchange a deserter for the five most dangerous Viet Cong in the seventies. Of course he would. Remember - he ran on “ending” not “winning” the afghan war.

This regime knows those freely roaming Taliban will be back in Afghanistan well inside of a year. They’ll suddenly go missing an the Qatari regime will give the “we have no clue” act when queried as to their whereabouts.

Quite clearly the Obama made this calculated decision to ride out a few days of plaintive bleating from the masses and irritated clucking from the political class, knowing it’ll be off the front pages as the next crisis rolls in to take its place.

YOu know, when you have NO ONE... I repeat NO ONE, standing up to this guy, he basically does what he thinks he should do.

I think he was miffed by Karzai not seeing him, so he did this. No one confronts him. He gets up in public and said Lincoln and FDR and Washington etc did the same thing. And no one outs him on this. NO one points out that he doesn’t know an f ing flip about what he’s talking about.

Yep. This is the result of electing an effeminate, leftist, foreign-raised community agitator with a visceral anti-American viewpoint to the highest office in the land.

Reid and Levin, at least, are actively supporting it. Reid sees it as a means to close Guantanamo, which he says only Republicans have prevented happening. It looks like they’re just going to open the cells and let them go , kind of like the deal on immigration; Republicans either sign on to a deal that betrys their base, or Obama acts unilaterally while vulnerable Democrats spend millions in ad money opposing him, trying to convince the voters they’re going to rein him in,by jinx.
