One year is about the time it will take these guys to get back into shape and come back up to speed on what they have missed in the world of Islamic Terror over the last 12 years.
In 12 months they will be ready to resume the Jihad and that will be the end of their detention.
Given the back lash they are seeing in America, these guys might not even stick around for a few weeks if they get the impression that Obama is being forced to pull back the deal and there is a drone strike in their future.
So let me get this straight: we just fought America’s longest war to keep the Taliban from taking over a mountainous country in the middle of the Eurasian no-where, and instead we turn over a Gulf State to their senior leaders?

Lets examine the job skills these five Taiban terrorists in the context that Qatar wanted them released to help reverse the losses they have encountered in the war Qatar is funding and supporting in Syria
In Afghanistan, these 5 guys were the “management team” that demonstrated a amazing knack for a very unique organizational skill - knitting together a diverse group of Radical Islamic fighters ranging from illiterate, undisciplined Afghan tribesmen, Saudi and Kuwaiti Princes, the sons of oil sheiks, and psychopathic Muslim losers and misfits from around the globe who have become Jihadi Zealots and who want go on a Jihad rampage to murder, rape and pillage and ultimately martyr themselves to the Jihadi cause into a sufficiently effective and organized fighting force.
This is exactly the same mix of would be Jihadi fighters that Qatar is trying to organize into an effective fighting force to overthrow Assad.
These five are operating at the genius level and are the equivalent of G.E.s Jack Welch or Fords Alan Mullally, when it comes to organizing, training, funding and leading a Jihadi army of Islamic Irregulars and then planning the kind of operations and motivating their terrorist army into the kind of acts where we have seen them invade a opposition village, gain control of that village and then murder 6000 plus inhabitants by slitting their throats or beheading them.
These guys are exactly what the Qatar government needs to jump start their losing war in Syria, to start planning the Taliban's reconquest of Afghanistan as soon as the US leaves at the end of the year, as well as re invigorating the world wide Jihadi movement they helped build as well.
It's not for nothing that Qatar has become the new hub for Radical Islam since Bin Laden was kicked out of Afghanistan.
In this context, the deal to release these guys makes perfect sense.
It's reasonable to expect that we will be hearing from these guys in the future and that we will be seeing an escalation in the violence in Syria and of terror in general in the near future thanks to these guys.

I think it's the opposite. This is exactly what he is... a vile, evil, narcisistic POS who does not care what the ramifications of his purposely destructive actions are, as he does not believe they will ever effect him. He has security for the rest of his worthless life. This is only the beginning... he will get increasingly more vile and callaous with his actions, as he sees the end of his path of destruction approaching and it seems painfully obvious that there is no one willing to stop the POS from continuing.

I would bet the Qatari’s are providing an allowance for these five and the Qatari’s will be trying very hard to recruit these guys to the rebel cause in Syria fighting Alewites (Shiite sect), Shiites insurgents from Iran/Iraq and Hezbollah (Shiites). These Taliban guys have a pension for killing Shiites, one of the five is wanted by the UN for commanding an action that killed 7,000 Shiites peasants in Afghanistan.
There is NO DOUBT in my mind that odumbo is sympathetic to the Taliban. He hates America and REAL America hates HIM. The problem is, no one doing anything about him as he goes about his merry way flaunting our laws and Constitution.
