The federal government plans to open a shelter in Tucson for unaccompanied migrant children crossing the border alone, but officials would have to seek zoning exemptions on the two locations being considered.
And that process could take months.
Part of the issue is that the exemption requires a 30-day notice to residents of the surrounding neighborhood so they can voice their opinion.
“What brought the focus and attention right now is that the system that is designed to take care of these children has imploded,” said Wendy Young, executive director of Kids in Need of Defense, during a conference call with reporters. “There is no bed space available for them.”

I was not aware that United States had a “system” to provide for taking care of illiterate adolescent illegal aliens being smuggled into the country with out their parents for the sole and express purpose of manufacturing a humanitarian crisis to help politicians in Washington ram an Amnesty bill down the throats of the American citizens who oppose amnesty.
What we do have are immigration laws and a Border Patrol who's job it is to enforce those laws. The Border Patrol has been forced to stop doing their jobs enforcing the law by the same politicians pushing amnesty

Indeed; this is a planned disaster and part of the human wave being facilitated by the Obama Regime to destroy the country.
I don’t understand why Az doesn’t just load these invaders onto buses and ship them to a couple of dedicated Blue States.
Actually, this whole scenerio is one of the many curses that come to nations who turn from God.
