There is no ideological compulsion to defend Western Europe from regional enemies anymore. Today, Britain burns the corpses of unborn children for fuel, Germany seizes children for being homeschooled, and Denmark has made it mandatory for churches to conduct sodomite marriage.
Who would want to waste a drop of American blood defending that?
