Open Primaries are the GOPe’s method of ensuring conservatives cannot win.

Closed Primaries are where conservatism wins, and the GOPe loses.

Get active in your state party and fix that.

Open primaries are ludicrous. Primaries are for a party to choose its nominee. Its similar to a vote in a club or corporation: only shareholders or members are eligible to vote. Open primaries make no sense.

HERE COMES OBAMA Thad needs Democrat votes.......so spread the word that Obama is coming down to campaign for Cochran (cackle).

Obama is pleased as punch that Republican Cochran recently endorsed Obamacare....since lock-stepping Democrats who voted for it en masse, are running way from the debacle as fast as their Dummy legs can carry them.

In an interview at a campaign stop, over-the-hill befuddled Cochran called the Obamacare debacle “an example of an important effort by the federal government to help make health care available, accessible and affordable.” “I’m glad to be involved in that effort,” Cochran added enthusiastically.

Absolutely. Open primaries are as dangerous in this era as no voter ID.

Just the way the Establishment wants it.

Nearly all Primary races need to be reformed. We should have the race being closed to only party members. The party should hold them whenever and however with the state only offering the machines and personnel to conduct the election with the party picking up the bill. With any party being one that has over a certain number of members

If there was a party that had 10,000 members and they wanted to put a name on the ballot selected from random lottery, I’d be okay with that.

Political parties suck because they’ve become institutionalized by the government.
