When I was in 8th grade, 37 years ago, we as a class had a year long game of Assignation” going on. We all had a person that we had to take out. There were rules to how you could take someone out. If you failed or they got you first you went back into the pool. Now the weapons were water pistols. All I ever recall happening is that the teachers kids must have quite a lot of water guns to play with that summer.
No suspension, expulsions or detentions even. Just got your gun taken. If you did not have a back up, word spread quickly. What fun that year was!
