One thing we love about Mike Rowe, the former Dirty Jobs TV host and current head of Mike Rowe Works, is that he always speaks his mind. Monday, he did so once again and took on a lawyer in doing so.
Mike hit his local liquor store last week and noticed a picture near the front of the shop: a man in a white shirt that the store was identifying as a shoplifter.
Good for you, Rowe says he told the owner, as he retold the story on a Facebook post: I wish every store in the country did this.
But then someone behind Rowe in line disagreed, saying that it wasnt right to publicly shame someone who may be innocent.
That got Mike a little fired up. He detailed the rest of the story on Facebook:

This is why I like Mike Rowe. Well, this and the fact that he’s real-man kind of sexy.
But can someone tell me what Whistle Pig is?
I used to work in a store where we had gas drive offs. My boss had a way of getting the money back within a week no cops involved and never failed. He would send the owner of the vehicle a registered letter with picture of the car and say you have 5 business days to make good on the purchase and pay the added $40 processing fee. He never had to take anyone to court LOL.
A store a few miles from me used to cash and take personal checks as a service to his regulars. People started writing rubber checks and not making good. He put the names and amount on a list and posted them at the cash register for public viewing.
