ATLANTA | Federal investigators are probing a whistleblower's allegations that applications for veterans seeking health care benefits may have been improperly purged from the VA's Health Eligibility Center in suburban Atlanta.
Eligibility Center program specialist Scott Davis told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that health benefit applications for more than 10,000 veterans may have been improperly purged from the Health Eligibility Center's national data system in DeKalb County.
The center doesn't process all applications, but helps manage the national enrollment computer system and offers enrollment guidance for VA hospitals across the country.

That’s why my claim is taking so long...
Probably lost my records again as well.
W T F ?
When my son was discharged from the VA hospital, I got paper copies of all his records, scanned them and burned them on TWO separate disks; one for him, one for me.
I am anticipating the day that they tell him he was never in the Marine Corp, or Afghanistan, or whatever. I’ve heard it happens quite a lot, and to keep all records.
I may be dead and gone when it happens, but I will still have his back!
Heads should roll. disgusting.
Was this the man, Neil Cavuato interviewed today on Fox?
Could be. Turned on the (was gonna say the tube) flat screen and someone was being interviewed. The guy seemed to have hours worth of information.
The black man interviewed by Neil had a lot of information and was willing to share it to get better care for our vets.
My records are 6" thick. I got a copy when I retired but the VA now has that. I scanned the first 10 pages which summarized the remainder, but part of my records (from my 1st fleet tour) never made it into the the official file.
