Ironically, even though Obama is probably the most ideologically left-wing president since World War II, I wouldn’t put him in last place. I think Nixon actually did more damage, and Bush II definitely was a bigger spender.

Nixon did more damage?

Bush spent more?

Alright, alright... time to 'fess up

Who put the dope in this guy's Kool-Aid?

Considering Nixon enabled Communist China by opening it up...signed the Clean Air Act...and had bad economic policies....not far off calling him a bad president

Nixon ended military conscription, established the EPA, established reverse discrimination in hiring, imposed wage and price controls & 3 of 4 of his USSC appointments voted in favor of Roe versus Wade. NOT a good record.

Nixon did more damage?

Nixon paved the way for Carter. He also gave us wage and price controls, the EPA, OSHA, the ESA, and took the dollar off of gold.

Yeah, he did more damage, but Zero is definitely catching up!

I think of it this way.

Nixon, Ford, Carter, the Bush's - tore down the ramparts a little at a time.

Obama is now laying waste to the town.

Another incompetent buffoon blogging above his weight. Obama exceeds Nixon's crimes on about any given day of the week. Nixon's offenses were transient and reparable. They had no effect whatsoever on the public except to tighten some constraints on the executive branch, and spawn a corrupt brand of "gotcha journalism."

The harm done to the political process by Obama may well be irreparable and in the long run debilitating.
