So in other words, white folks are to blame for their reaction to Holder's comments. He's not shunning responsibility or accountability for the poor job this administration has done. He's just stating how black people feel.

I can't take this crap anymore. It's utter garbage.

Here’s the longterm effect of Obama’s presidency on race relations: Nobody Cares

As an aside: I watched part of a PBS special on race…on the topic of AIDS, black women and commentators were moaning, “nobody told Black people about it. Nobody helped us.”

Truth is, nobody told anyone about it at first, because nobody knew what it was. When it was identified as a sexually transmitted disease, it was all over the news. Daily. For years. Did Black people not read newspapers? Nor watch nightly news shows?

Socialite Mary Fisher, who contracted AIDS from her husband, gave a speech about women and AIDS at the Republican National Convention in 1992. So it was no mystery. How many black women watched that? Or read the books and articles that were coming out daily about women and AIDS? Did they expect personal messages delivered to their doors by FedEx?

LOL. I think most white folks understand well enough how prominent the subject of alleged white racism is in the black community.

Just because he has dark skin?

Ricky has a lot of cream and sugar in his background! His buddy Racky isn't even black at all!

In reality, the reason is very simple:

It makes us mad because we’re tired of being crapped on for stuff we do not do. I loathe Obama for the same reason I loathe Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid - I hate lying socialists who want to destroy America. I am an Equal Opportunity Loather of America Haters.

It’s absolutely not about race it’s about values. You put an Alan Watts, a Herman Cain, a Thomas Sowell, a Walter Williams, a Ben Carson in the place of Obama and the results would be totally opposite.

Why someone doesn’t point that out is beyond me.

She has clearly forgotten that:

1) Conservatives opposed the Clintons and Carter just as violently, and

2) Pundits compared George W. Bush to a chimp constantly.

I don’t really care what either side says we should do about racial injustice. Let individuals and businesses make their own decisions about integration or segregation, with neither integration nor segregation being enforced by the State. Whining about white people suggests a Colored Communist agenda, especially when you consider that the last white politician to explicitly endorse government-enforced segregation who sought office higher than a state legislature was David Duke (who is a liberal, anyway).

White racism is dead, with the exception of liberals identifying colored people as easy votes (in exchange for handouts). Colored racism is alive and well, as seen by Hussein Soetoro and Eric Holder.

But ... but ... but ... Hugh Hewitt said on his radio program yesterday that "Holder doesn't hate whites", he's just politically posturing.

How anyone as accomplished and, frankly, brilliant as is Hewitt can be this naive is beyond me.

Most whites don’t have interracial conversations about race because they fear being pilloried as “racists” by those they have dared to disagree with. They have good reason to suspect that brainwashed minorities and guilt-ridden and politically correct whites are not reasonable people.

The top comment to the article is pretty good:

“Main reason I clicked on the article was to see if CNN would actually have the editorial gumption to have a white person write this article. You never disappoint CNN. Who better to have write an article explaining how white people feel being called racist for calling two incompetent goofballs incompetent than an African American professor from Emory University! This is not why I disliked the comments at all. It’s so funny there’s nothing else that needs to be said. Never change CNN. You lower the journalistic bar to places once thought unreachable. Non-stop unintentional comedy.”

I don’t think black people should be allowed to say anything disparaging about white people because they just don’t understand the white experience.

It’s a white thing, and I am offended now. Who do I sue?

The only reason that anyone would question the Word of Our Glorious Leader is racism. That is the only reason.

Since Holder and Zero hate our way of life we can only assume that due to their racist viewpoints that they simply hate white people.

Obama’s election and re-election have accomplished what Obama said he wanted, but didn’t really want: the ushering in of a post-racial America. With the exception of die-hard progressives, the vast majority of non-black Americans no longer care about the “civil rights movement,” not because they are racists, but because there are no barriers left: we’ve had a “black” President, “black” Cabinet officials, SC justices, Senators, Congresspeople, medical doctors, academic doctors, lawyers, CEOs, CFOs, star athletes in every sport, star entertainers in every medium. The result is that Holder et al have stopped sounding like people who are pleading for opportunity rights, and have started sounding like people who are whining for success entitlement, and the American people can tell the difference.

There’s also one other aspect, which FReepers may lament (I do), but which has its own unintended consequence. The American public has “moved on” from black-civil-rights to LGBT-civil-rights, and the rights issues of the day no longer are racial but sexual. That sexual activity is a choice and race is not is irrelevant in the public mind: people, in the public mind, are supposedly “born [fill in the sexual blank]” and therefore in the public mind deserve the same opportunity rights regardless of sexual orientation. Racial civil rights are so 20th century; the New Crusade is LGBT, and Holder’s complaints are just an old man’s anachronistic whining, to the public.
