If people want a Biblical perspective on the conflict, they only have to seek out their Bible and read the story about Abraham and Sarah. The Amplified Bible is very concise about the whole issue of Ismael and Isaac.
Sarah’s handmaiden, Haggar, gave birth to Abraham’s child, Ismael. Jewish Law clearly states that the “first born” inherits everything upon the death of the father. But, Jewish Law does not recognize children born out of wedlock (as far as inheritance issues are concerned), it is clear that Isaac, Sarah’s child by Abraham, was clearly a child of their marriage covenant. Because of that covenant, it was Isaac who was deemed the true and lawful inheritor of all Abraham’s possessions (including the land God had given to him).
So, in conclusion, this battle between Israel and the Arabic nations is nothing more than two half-brothers fighting over who is entitled to inherit the land that was given to Abraham by God.
Nothing worse than family feuds.
Since this is a “family” matter, there is NOBODY on the face of this earth who can NEGOTIATE with either of these peoples. Let them work it out for themselves.
Actually, if you want a Biblical perspective, it’s the Messiah of Israel who settles it, by killing all the Muslims in the world, and then setting up his new “one-world government” ... which is a theocracy and not a democracy, and the entire world is just ONE RELIGION from that point forward.
Until then, there will be no settlement that will “finally” solve this problem. What “solves it” is the killing of all the Muslims in the world. Mind you, “we” are not to be killing all the Muslims in the world (exception is “Muslim terrorists” which we should kill every last one of them). But it’s the Messiah of Israel who kills ALL MUSLIMS.
What Israel does for the time being (before the Messiah of a Israel comes back to earth) is basically make political and military moves to protect its safety and security.
