I can’t see why anybody would think Romney would make a good president

I'm not pro-Romney by any means, but there's one thing about him that I like: he is a businessman. That's the same thing I like about Herman Cain.

I'm tired of lawyers running for office.

In my post #41 I noted that at least Romney is a businessman, and not a lawyer. I just now looked it up, it turns out that he a lawyer as well as a businessman. One cancels out the other. Romney is back to being a zero again.

Why do I believe this poll, given CNN’s history. First of all, nobody can defend Obama anymore, except the MSNBC and HBO comedians. But, even though Clinton is tanking with the intelligentsia, the huddled masses can still be led by the nose to the Clinton horse trough.

This is moot. Romney has declared that he is not going to run.

Still at least he is a business man.
He would have been far better than Obama.

This is why TED CRUZ needs to come out front and DECLARE himself the AMERICAN candidate for 2016

The longer Cruz waits to declare, the less time the sewer rats have time to attack him.............

Right you are. Many conservatives (including me) weren't motivated to support Romney in 2012, so we stayed home. That was foolish.

And I suppose we'll see a repeat of that in 2016. The GOP will nominate some elitist, we'll stay home, and the country will suffer.

Sometimes we have to remember this is a war of increments, and we must use what we have at hand for battle.

Ted has lots of time.

No. If one has any feel for the political process in the US, they have to recognize that the time to put together a campaign organization is NOW.

If we want to have a conservative as the GOP nominee, then we can't afford the same old situation of the last few election cycles where conservative support is divided between a half-a-dozen "ok on the values, horrible in campaign execution" candidates.

That means that we need to consolidate support early. That means that the time to build a bulletproof freight train for one solid candidate is NOW.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why any person would think Hildabeast would make a good elected official in any capacity.

Neither do I. A thoroughly despicable and ruthless murdering liar. However, in my own little attempt to explain it:

1. Democrats are Democrats are Democrats. They are going to vote that way.

2. A lot of women, who really should and deep down do know better, will vote because "historic first". Which makes me want to vomit.

3. Clinton nostalgia. As we all know very well, you have to be willfully ignorant to believe this but, they will never admit to the actual reasons for the go-go 90's economy. They. Never. Will.

4. Free Sh*t Army will simply not vote for a Republican. Period.

Now, all that being said: Those numbers are padded.

What is the purpose of this poll? To show how “popular” Hillary is? Or to show how stupid the voters are? After all, Obama is just Hillary with a Y chromosome, doesn’t make any sense to like one and not the other, unless you’re ‘tarded.
