New York’s Division of Homeland Security is posting signs on businesses to encourage people to snitch on fellow citizens who buy such things as MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat), ammunition, flash lights, match containers, gas masks and other items deemed to be ‘prepper’ in nature.
In this video a girl working at LZ Army Navy Surplus store in Auburn, NY tell us how a state trooper put up a flyer in their window which encourages customers to call the New York State Terrorism Tips Line to report this ‘suspicious activity’ under the as part of the “See Something, Say Something” campaign.
This is obviously nothing more than the beginning of the cultivation of ‘average citizen snitches’ who will rat out on their fellow citizens.
Despot governments have always needed snitches to help control the population. Now with technology the way it is, with our phones, computers and even our dishwashers spying on us, perhaps the need for snitches will be less – but it seems that the tyrannical government that’s currently encroaching still feels the need for them.

Isn’t the DHS running “public service” ads on the radio suggesting folks get on with their emergency preparations?
Some folks will turn this into a money making business.
Funny...I heard about the muzzie terrorist training camps in upstate NY. Are they included, or will you be ignored if you report automatic weapons fire in Outer Newjorkistan??
I’d call in and use the names of every cop in town, the mayor and the DA. Get my money and throw a prepper party.
They want to make sure that all the peasants starve when they decide it is time to starve them.
That they are, but I’ll bet that they don’t mention things like firearms and ammo.

The FEMA site advises everyone to prep for a minimum of three days with no assistance.
So, technically speaking, I guess you could stand out in the parking lot of any local Piggy Wiggly, writing down license plate numbers of shoppers rolling a cart of groceries out to their car.
They’re “prepping”, right?
Count me as skeptical.
I heard there is a gated compound in north PA, too.
So you spend YOUR money on them,
and then when you’re snitched on,
they know where to go confiscate them in case such an emergency occurs.
Yep, hungry people are easier to control.

IIRC, I believe it was the Oath keepers who mentioned a similar program a few years ago.
Hence the reason for posting this.
