Gen 3:16 is the beginning of pains and difficulties in childbearing, and plausibly the beginning of difficulties in the sexual relationship in general, i.e. a woman desiring a husband though he dominates her--- "lords it over her" --- to finish out that verse.
Not the beginning of sexual relations per se.
It's defensible to speculate, as I do, that both the man-woman relationship and childbirth would have been, or were intended to be, before the Fall, simply ecstatic.
