The article states that wind will not help.
Yet on local news they are saying that we are hoping for wind to create some “wave action”.

“One thing that will not solve the microcystin problem, the plant manager said, is a windy day, even if the wind blows out of the southwest.

While that theoretically might push the algae away from Oregon’s water intake — as well as Toledo’s — resulting wave action would churn up the water and send the algae and its toxin deeper into the water and thus closer to those intakes, Mr. Wagner said.”

Yep. From early reports it seems that employees of the water treatment plant who are supposed to monitor algae levels and then adjust treatment accordingly dropped the ball.

Of course they are all public employee union members who support the Democrat Party. So the cover-up is on.
