That’s the lesson of history that “Europe” seems to have glossed over. They’re behaving just as Adolf did towards Chamberlain.
The EU headquarters is, mostly, a ruling elite without much accountability.
Citizens have a hard enough time protecting themselves from ruling elites in places where there are some accountability mechanisms
But the EU gives all the signs of a very dangerous organization in this regard.
Whenever there is little or no accountability, you can call it communism, fascism, dictatorship, Caliphate, whatever....the result is usually very very bad for the people (those ruled over). And especially minorities...
I realize Israel tries very hard to maintain positive, good relations insofar as possible with just about everyone, including EU in Brussels. It can’t be easy
