No, she didn't. Calling her a "Holocaust survivor" is somewhat misleading; she was evacuated to Britain in 1939 with other Jewish children. Members of her family died in the Holocaust.
Thanks for posting that. I would have thought that when she was called a “Holocaust survivor” that she was in a concentration camp. That will teach me to believe idiot reporters (but I repeat myself). Wikipedia confirms that you are correct.
