I got my shovel. I’ve been preparing for this since the mid-90’s. Bring it on. Let’s get this over with. I’ve always preferred to rip the bandaid off quick, rather than slowly and much more painfully.
Didn't worry about locking the cottage doors. Everybody, including the children, waved as you drove by. Everybody was very friendly. I did get a couple of "beware of bears" warnings. No traffic, no heat, no humidity.
With a little bit of hard work, I can be living there by spring.
