Well, K-Mart bought Sears.
Western PA and NY has seen an explosion of growth with Tim Horton’s storefronts popping up in every mildly populated town... and have been very poular with the residents. Personally, I’m not a fan of Timmay’s coffee but all summer long they have had any size iced tea for $1.00... which works for me... Saturdays and Sundays when I am hard tasking outside or in the shop on the farm and need to take a break and head into town to the hardware store or feedmill, I hit Timmay’s and get my $2.12 worth of real, unsweetened iced tea.
The problem with BK is that it was caught in the middle between the two big sucessful fast foods: McD’s and Wendys. The former because it is a legendary fast food company and the latter because of the quality of its fast food. BK kinda was very, very conflicted in itself.
